Gotta LOVE motel living right?

It's nice to have cable, a comfy bed, and that's about it. There have been about 200 13 year old boy scouts at the motel since Monday. That means loud, squeaky voiced...F word loving... boys!!😵🤪. Yuck. And I've come to the realization that I, and I alone, will forever more be the ONLY one in this life that does ANY packing of ANY kind. .. what's that about? I've packed and moved and unpacked this bunch since 1998...I'm tired!

New Bridge Pics 2019 He's finally home but only for a day. We head back tomorrow for Iowa. I had a good week with the girls but I'm ready to be back in Iowa. He has a better week when I'm there. Me too. I'm surprised he didn't drive this time when they came home, he even laid in the back seat and slept!! That's not like him. We move the camper next weekend, so wish us luck!

Grandson

We have a new grandson, first one, not to sound like a proud grandma, but I'm pretty sure he's perfect. I spent the last 3 weeks here in Missouri, I'm really missing being with my husband but have found a new lease on life. My adult children have needed me more this year than they have in many. It's nice to be needed again. I don't feel old I feel wise, and that makes me feel confident that the advice I give is good advice . The Thinker Grandpa and Liam Grandma and Grandpa  I spent this last week helping Liam's momma at home, what a blessing this little guy is. Momma did wonderful,I have complete faith in her abilities as a loving, nurturing, mature mother. I am going to miss being with little man, but I'm ready to be with MY MAN now!!

Goodbye Dubuque
